Please do not send private financial details
We cannot see anything you type into the calculator. If you are reporting a calculation problem, rounded example numbers are enough.
Do not send account numbers, Social Security numbers, passwords, tax records, investment statements, medical records, or a detailed financial plan. Email is not the right place for that information.
Personal financial advice
Retirement Gut Check is an educational estimate, not a financial adviser. We can explain what the calculator does, but we cannot tell you whether you personally should retire, buy or sell an investment, claim a benefit, or make another financial decision.
Privacy requests
Put “Privacy request” in the subject line and tell us what you need. The calculator does not send us your entries or results, so we cannot look them up. You can read the full privacy policy before writing.
